Summertime Tips for Meeting Success

The summer months are a popular time at Lake Tahoe, thanks to the longer days, beautiful weather, spectacular blue water, and a wide variety of fun things to do on and off the lake. It’s also a great time to plan a meeting, corporate retreat, or event if you keep some essential things in mind.

We’re here to help. Here are three quick tips to ensure your next summer meeting succeeds.

Make it Midweek
Weekends are prime time at Lake Tahoe. Scheduling your event midweek lets you breathe easier, with more options for everything from lodging to activities. It’s also more relaxing, allowing attendees to experience the destination without as much hustle and bustle.

Go Al Fresco
Lake Tahoe’s famous summer weather isn’t limited to beaches and trails. The outdoor patio at the Lisa Maloff University Center (LMUC) offers the same lovely temperatures and endless sunshine. Breaks and meals on the patio are an obvious way to capitalize on summer here, but the more creative could use that space for brainstorming, networking, or even as a spot for a vendor showcase.

Maximize the Sunshine
Make the most of your location at Lake Tahoe by getting outside. Your attendees will love the change of location, perfect temps, loads of sunshine, and gorgeous scenery right outside the LMUC’s doors. Schedule a breakout session or teambuilding activity on the trails and fields on the Lake Tahoe Community College Campus, a short walk from the LMUC.
